The open plan kitchen dining area is perfect for preparing food and eating together, with patio doors opening onto the court yard. The lounge and bedrooms are also ideal for family holidays. 'Sandy Bottom' is close to great shops, lovely restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops and galleries.

The space
Bedroom 1 has a king size bed
Bedroom 2 a double bed and a balcony with a lovely view.
Bedroom 3 has bunk beds.
There is a sofa bed in the lounge.

There is a family bathroom upstairs and a downstairs toilet. We have taken care to try to provide absolutely everything we think you may need during your stay including, amongst many other things, soft linen and towels and complimentary Cole and Lewis shower gels and moisturiser. We also offer enhanced cleaning for your peace of mind.

You absolutely don’t need a car to visit ‘Sandy Bottom’ in Broadstairs, as almost everything you are likely to need is in the town, and the station is only about a 10-15 minute walk from the house.

There is no off-street parking at the house but there is free on street parking nearby. The streets can be busy in the Summer. There are also two car parks minutes away - Albion Street car park and Broadstairs Harbour car park - both Pay & Display and Ringo App.

Neighborhood overview
Broadstairs is such a great little town with fabulous sandy beaches, great restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops and galleries. From feeling the sand between your toes to clifftop walks and cycles along the ‘Viking Coastal Trail,’ there is always time for fun.

Often there is something going on in the town from music on the Bandstand to bands in the pubs. Annual festivals include the ‘Blues Bash’ in February, ‘Dickens Week’ in June, the ‘Water Gala’ in July, ‘Folk Week’ in August, and the ‘Food and Drink Festival’ in October.

Margate, with its restaurants and galleries including the ‘Turner,’ Ramsgate, with its beautiful harbour, the quaint town of Sandwich and the beautiful historic city of Canterbury, with its stunning cathedral, are all nearby. Canterbury is 30 minutes by train. The lovely Kent countryside, with its wildlife reserves and great walks, is about a 30 minute drive away.
Getting around
You don’t need a car to visit ‘Sandy Bottom’ in Broadstairs, as almost everything you are likely to need is in the town, and the station is only about a 10-15 minute walk from the house.

Regular bus and train services run from the town.

Parking is on street and free or there are car parks nearby.
